BALLARD / OUR PROJECTS

Our Projects

At Ballard Renovations, we believe the best proof is the work itself. This page highlights a handful of recent indoor and outdoor remodels we’ve completed across Ozark, Springfield, Nixa, Branson, and nearby communities. From space-saving bathroom makeovers to light-filled kitchen reworks and outdoor living upgrades, our team delivers clean execution, smart details, and respectful, on-schedule craftsmanship.

Primary Bathroom Rescue — Water Damage to Spa-Ready

Coordinated with licensed plumber & tile supplier.

Call came in after a leak behind the vanity

A slow leak had warped the vanity and soaked the subfloor. Instead of patching, the homeowners used the moment to finally create the calm, practical bath they wanted. We demoed to the studs, dried and treated the framing, replaced subfloor, and re-laid the room with heated porcelain tile. A new walk-in shower with a low curb, frameless glass, and a linear drain keeps water where it belongs, while the floating vanity frees up floor space and makes cleaning easier.

Nixa, MO — Kitchen Wall Removal & “Triple Upgrade”

Layout, Lighting, Storage

This 1990s kitchen felt boxed-in and dim. We opened the shared wall to the dining room with an LVL beam (engineered and permitted), added a 9’ island for prep and seating, and layered a three-part lighting plan so there are zero shadows on work surfaces. Storage jumped with tray dividers, a spice pullout, and deep drawers that actually fit pots and small appliances.

Springfield — Covered Patio Rebuild & Storm Repair

Post-Storm Recovery

High winds took out the old pergola and left the back-door area unusable. We handled demo, structural footings, and a new low-slope, shingle-tied roof cover with recessed lighting and a ceiling fan. Composite decking and a simple black railing keep the look clean and the maintenance minimal. By tying grades and drainage into the plan, the space now sheds water the right way—no puddles at the threshold.

Ozark — Whole-Home Refresh in Phases

Flooring, Paint, Trim, and a Better Entry

Rather than one giant upheaval, this family chose a phased approach. We started with new LVP on the main level (quiet underlayment, continuous runs), swapped dated base/door trim for a crisp modern profile, and repainted in a warm neutral with enamel on doors and casings. Phase two added a hardworking mudroom wall—cubbies, hooks, and closed storage—so backpacks and boots finally had a home.
